On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, a fire occurred in our home, which is also where our storefront was located. The most important thing to share is that no one was injured, including the birds.
We are incredibly grateful to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue for their fast response, for putting out the fire, and for safely rescuing all 28 birds in the home. Their efforts made a frightening situation much better, and we cannot thank them enough.
While we are thankful everyone is safe, the fire caused significant damage to the building and to everything inside. After 21 years in business, losing so much so suddenly has been overwhelming.
Right now, we’re still processing what this means and what the future may look like. We don’t have clear answers yet, but we care deeply about our customers and want to stay connected in whatever ways we can.
